Trestle BD works on technical cooperation, institutional strengthening or capacity building projects for both officials in Spain and foreign officials.
Trestle BD implements training courses and seminars for groups of public sector officials or personnel who require specialized training in some matter of public management or public policies in which Trestle BD works .
The training offer Trestle BD is designed expressly for each customer and often, though not necessarily, is linked to a larger project. Both company consultants and other professionals from the world of the University and praxis participate in the courses given by the company , including active public managers. Trestle BD collaborates with prestigious universities and academic centers in the creation of ad-hoc courses that are subsequently recognized by these centers.
Among the public policy training programs carried out by the company are programs focused on sectoral policies (transport, science, social services, …), programs aimed at general aspects of public management (planning, evaluation, financing, gender, …) or programs focused on specific issues of current interest to public managers (Innovative Public Procurement, Public-Private Collaboration models, etc.).
Trestle BD organizes and manages study trips for officials to other countries and regions, which include visits to infrastructures, services or departments whose performance is analyzed to be applied later in their place of origin by said officials.
Trestle BD collaborates with the Public Administration institutes of the different governments in the design of training programs or ad-hoc courses, as well as with specific departments and institutions that directly demand these courses.
Trestle BD has its own training center located in the Basque Country, where stays of several days are carried out for team training of public service professionals .
